Links on this page go to the Archive of Our Own; if the fic was originally posted elsewhere, I also provide mirror links to the pages on which they were first posted.

If you would like to create fanart, record podfic, do a translation, or remix any of my fic in whatever way, feel free to do so; you don't have to ask permission, though I would love to be linked to the finished product.

Master Fanworks List )
So I've only been working on this fic, on and off, since the last HP movie came out. Never say I don't eventually finish my beloved old WIPs.

Geometry of the Impossible, Remus/Sirius/James/Lily
"I don't think Lily nor James would be very happy if I did his courting for him," Remus said. He saw that Sirius' face was fixed into blank patience, and had a flash of desire to snarl and go for Sirius' throat, because he might at least understand that. "Look. There are comical farces written around your idea, and I'm not terribly keen on having Lily fall for me instead --"

Please enjoy 21k of Teenage Werewolf Disaster :DDD

Hahaha well I'm not going to hit 50k on NaNo this year but I AM going to finish up a bunch of WIPs! Today's offering:

Midwinter, Thor/Loki
All Loki has to do is say yes, go, and Thor will leave, and perhaps for some time things will be painfully awkward but they will be safe. Loki does not even have to tell Thor he doesn't want it, does not have to make himself convincing. If he can just bring himself to say it --

Tbh this fic is VERY 2012 in the sense that it is literally just fluffy teenage Asgardian banging, please enjoy this magical journey to a more innocent time.

Have I ... have I really not posted a non-D&D fic since 2014?? APPARENTLY SO. Okay then! Today I break that terrible drought with Dragon Age fic -- because, while I understand that coding poly into the Dragon Age games would be an IMMENSE pain, I treat them like dating sims and I feel personally affronted that I cannot date several of my favorite romanceable options at once! I feel so affronted that I wrote ... 15k about it.

House of Three, Cullen/Inquisitor/Josephine.

"Here's the Orlaisian part," the Inquisitor says. "Assuming you're both amenable, I'd like to try relationships with both of you, with your full knowledge and consent."

"Oh," says Cullen. "That is ... terribly Orlaisian, yes."

For my lovely friend Sheila, whose Inquisitor characterization I didn't really end up using but whose enthusiasm for this OT3 convinced me that I had at least an audience of one for my self-indulgence. Thanks, hon <333

Hey, Dreamwidth! I know, I don't call, I don't write, and I only stop by to give you Monday evening Thor/Loki porn, but perhaps that's what your Monday evening needed!

This takes place in the Find a Home universe, because what, like we're ever leaving there, it is the happy fork AU and we're going to play in it for ages.

the taste you were forever chasing, by Aria & filiabelialis, Thor/Loki
Thor has said that nothing of Loki frightens him away; but there is a difference between tolerance and love, and Loki can't afford to hope.

We're done quite late because today was D&D day and we weren't ... quite finished editing before our session started, oops. But it's done now.

Find a Home, by Aria & filiabelialis, Thor/Loki
Loki lets his head fall back, a despairing smile baring his teeth. "What do you mean by home?"

Part eight; in which everyone copes with the aftermath of the war, and figures out how to be family.

Posting early today, because I do what I want, Thor. Well, also because no one is home today and thus I wasn't at all distracted from editing.

Part three; in which Thor makes friends, engages in cultural exchange, and completely fails to be a good brother.

Uh so this is the part of the fic at which I start going LOOK LOOK THIS FIC IS THE BEST THING AND YOU SHOULD LOOK AT IT. Seriously though there are Thor/Loki makeouts and also Steve and Thor go on the Colbert Report (but these things do not happen at the same time).

...You guys, I feel like I'm not playing up this fic enough. But, like. First, we're at the exposition/buildup parts. Second, this was ... a year of Amiel and I having really intense Thor and Loki feelings at each other! I don't quite know what to say, so I'm mostly just sending our weird monster baby out into the world and then gazing at its hit count in between editing the later parts. But I do have a lot of feelings and I love this fic very much.

Oh no oh no I have literally never been more jittery and ridiculous about posting a fic. BUT HERE IT IS.

Find a Home, by Aria & filiabelialis, Thor/Loki
Loki lets his head fall back, a despairing smile baring his teeth. "What do you mean by home?"

Part one; in which Thor realizes that things are not ideal on Asgard, and decides to steal Loki. There are eight parts total, and they'll be posted over the next week. I will flee and maybe eat the rest of this pint of ice cream.

In an effort to become an actual human with an internet presence and hobbies and other good things, I'm blocking out time during each day to get some writing done! And, in a stunning twist, when I do this, I actually get things written! Today's offering is about Frigga, because as we all know I will never ever be over this stupid Asgardian family.

I know these bones as being mine, Frigga, young Loki and Thor. "He is not our ward, Frigga, he is our son."

It turns out I have a LOT of feelings about Frigga! Team many scenes of Frigga in Thor 2.

Oh hey, it's that time again! For Yuletide this year, I wrote just the one fic:

shape of the boundaries you leave behind. Demon's Lexicon, Alan/Sin. "Come on," Cynthia said, and pulled him upstairs. Alan went without protest, because Cynthia's warm hand in his was the only thing tethering him to the world. Everything else was dark and cold, killing cold.

Initially this fic was weirdly difficult to write, because though I ship Alan/Sin like burning, my Demon's Lexicon pairing of choice is ... everyone; I kept trying to dial back my earnest poly agenda, and the fic wasn't quite working. Then Olivia, who is the best beta ever and always knows what my story needs to do, told me gently that this story was allowed to have more Nick. And suddenly it worked! MORE NICK, is the moral of every Lexicon story.

I'm sad I didn't get through the whole archive before reveals; but I'm still trucking along, and enjoying myself immensely.

So [personal profile] thingswithwings made a post about various configurations of Avengers pairings, including a throwaway line about how Darcy Lewis/Janet Van Dyne would be pretty great, and ... somehow that happened, and ate my entire morning. So!

#TeamJanet, Darcy/Jan. Darcy feels herself starting to get disappointed, but thirty seconds later she's tempted to find a sharpie and write #TeamJanet on her forehead as a reminder to herself to never ever make snap judgments, because apparently Janet can shoot electricity from her hands, and is therefore the coolest human Darcy has ever seen.

It occurs to me that I'm using the AO3 as my fic-posting platform these days; I usually forget to crosspost, and it's nice to have comments consolidated in one place. So this is a drive-by PSA to let everyone know that I won't be posting fic to [personal profile] ariafic anymore, though I'm not taking down any of the fic that's there. Unless and until the next drastic platform shift, fic gets linked to the AO3, and also posted to my master fic list, which is now a sticky post on this journal, because I like organizing things.
Um, so, I wrote a fic! It is about Loki being awful, and it probably fills my kink bingo 'mind control' square, so ... it is a fic that takes place in the Venn diagram overlap of these two things! Warnings, oh god, all the warnings for noncon (or at best extremely dubious consent), off-screen canon character death, and Avengers-era Loki being generally horrifying.

Conviction, Thor/Loki. Between one breath and the next, the spear is in Loki's hands, and before Thor can even finish speaking, Loki has pressed the spear's glowing point to Thor's chest, just above his heart.

I'll just ... go to fannish dinner hangouts now and leave this fic to fend for itself, shall I.

Today it has been exactly one year since I posted Shatter! Uh, nearly-coincidentally, today I have another fic. It is much shorter (only 5000 words! YAY) but it is still about my Asgard bros feelings because, y'know, me. It exists in the main because I have LOTS OF THOUGHTS ABOUT THOR, and also about how Comic Relief Thor is charming in small doses but my god there is so much more to say about him. And so!

Flying Monkeys, or Five Times Thor Engaged in Cultural Exchange, Thor/Jane, Thor/everyone! Thor wonders whether any of them know. He wonders if like tears without shame it is something Midgardians do not do, or if it is rare, like the tale of the Rings of Power, or if it is something that needs only be asked for as Thor asked Natasha to spar with him.

What it says on the tin! With bonus orgy! And there is nary a Loki in sight.

Yuletide reveal time! I've just the one story: Taking In, Young Wizards. I am the water, and the waves, or Ronan Nolan's Ordeal. Just a short character sketch, but I am fond of it. Also I am a bit proud of myself for actually writing something reasonably short for once.

And happy new year! On this the advent of 2012, I have made a number of small resolutions, mostly along the lines of finishing various writing projects and making an effort to take better care of myself. That's just the usual nonsense, though; the important thing is that I am looking forward to this year so much. I am switching cities and moving in with my BFF, I am determined to expand my social circle in said city, I have two cons to go to (and I'll probably engage in the yearly debate with myself over whether to try for VividCon, and probably decide yet again to go next year) and a delightfully large number of my US friends to see. I fully expect this coming year to be challenging and sometimes exhausting and a bit scary, and also delightful and full of adventure and deeply rewarding. Bring it on, 2012, I'm armed with all the determined enthusiasm I have. Let's do this thing.

I ... am not going to do the fic year in review meme this year, because it asks such questions as what your favorite fic was, what your best fic was, what your sexiest fic was, &c &c, and it is not actually interesting if I just sit here typing SHATTER SHATTER SHATTER. Instead, have a quick fic roundup to end the year.

12 fics in 10 fandoms, some navel-gazing, & a list of WIPs to finish in the new year. It's like the meme in short form! )
