Something I have discovered about being polyfannish is that, when I am in the shower or on a bus or folding clothes or whatever it is that puts my brain on screensaver mode, I will start making up crossovers. I love clever crossovers, and clever fusions (and, I'll be honest here, I would be perfectly happy if every fandom ever had a His Dark Materials fusion where all the characters had daemons and this did interesting things to the fic plot). Most of the time I do not actually get around to writing them down, but I do like to pretend that I might.

I am not quite sure why the rest of this post is a poll, except that I am in a poll-making mood and I want to know if people know what I'm talking about.

YESYESYES I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT WHITE COLLAR.

I have actually been spending my days at work when there's a lull reading White Collar fic. BEST THING TO BE GETTING PAID FOR EVER. Speaking of, if you have any recs you'd wan to send my way I'd be much obliged....

Even though Lauren never really got a character, I still miss her, because, HOT. Also it would've been fun to have two lady agents harassing Neal all the time. And SWEET JESUS is it just me or did Neal get prettier? Maybe it's just that he angsts prettily, I don't know. Also, that episode where he infiltrated the university criminology course? PURE FANFIC. I could not believe it was happening. Neal's absoluter GLEE on realizing he was on the syllabus was priceless. And Peter pretending to be a mobster with Mozzie whispering terrible lines in his ear was fucking hilarious. I think it might be one of my favorite episodes so far.

I ... have to confess that I haven't actually read a lot of White Collar fic! Because a lot of it is not as kinky as I want it to be? I do enthusiastically rec all of fahye's, copperbadge's, and china_shop's stuff, though. (And I see you have met China! She was originally a due South buddy of mine, but as you can see she has since migrated to White Collar and continues awesome.)

Yeah, I am sad we did not get to see Lauren and Diana having shenanigans! Diana is so bogglingly awesome that I can't complain too much, though. AWESOME LESBIANS ON MY TELLY. Also, yeah, Neal just gets prettier and prettier. Eventually he may break some sort of prettiness barrier, and melt all our televisions or possibly take over the world. :D

S2 is pretty delightful! Keep me updated of your White Collar adventures. <3
