Despite the tried-and-true cheering-up methods of dressing snazzy, having hot chocolate, reading comfort stories, and enthusiastically tackling the slush pile, my brain is still having one of those days where I cannot stop overthinking and being anxious about nearly everything. Writing ridiculous fic may be the ticket, but in the meantime, it seems like everyone is having a rubbish November so far, and so I propose:

IMPROMPTU ROUNDS OF MARRY-SHAG-CLIFF! Ask me characters! Ask me for characters! Interrogate me on why I'd ever think marrying x would be a valid life choice! I realize that midafternoon on a Thursday is a ridiculous time for this sort of thing, but hell, this can be an all-day party. Have at it.

I totally don't know if you're still watching this thread, but I got DERAILED BY WORK OMG and forgot and I have FEELINGS ABOUT THESE CHARACTERS.

I think my results would be much the same for the houses, though it makes me really sad to cliff the Hufflepuffs. Maybe this is a vote for poly?

As for the next, I'd cliff Ginny in a second (because I'm a cruel, cruel fangirl), and, hmmmmmm. I feel like Luna would be a pretty hilarious wife, mostly because she'd be wandering all over the place and I wouldn't see her for weeks but she'd show up one morning looking like she'd never left with possibly-extinct creatures trailing after her and be all "HONEY I'M HOME". But for similar reasons I totally wanna shag her, so I think I'll go with that, and marry Neville. He'd be sweet, attentive, occasionally bad-ass, and I do love plants. :D

In a complete switch from cuddly characters (and if you still wanna play), I propose to you MALFOY VERSION: Lucius, Narcissa, or Malfoy.

Aw, are you one of those people who dislikes Weasleys? We may have to have stern words. That said, though, I think I would choose the same way you did. Also, Neville would be the best spouse. Ever. (Quick, crossover fic! Neville/Rory, y/y?)

Oh, hmm. I would marry the hell out of Narcissa, I think, mostly because I am hugely attracted to all members of the Black family ever. I will probably shag Draco, because fandom has gotten to me and I find him attractive, and I will cliff Lucius because, let's be honest, Lucius really deserves to be cliffed.

I love me some Weasleys hard core! Don't even! I just think that Ginny started out cute, and got boring reallyreally fast. I was dissapointed by the fact that she had zero character development and was suddenly THE ONE OMG and chest monsters made me irritated. She could've been developed into someone significantly more badass, but JKR didn't so that- instead her character felt flimsy, unattainable, and predictable.

Gimme any other Weasley, though, and I will be ALL. UP. ON. THAT.

I could go either way on Lucius. Sometimes I find him pitiful and stupid and cliff-worthy. Sometimes I kind him sexy-as-hell. (The cane helps). I think I'd cliff him, though, shag Narcissa (HOT) and marry Draco. It would be hilariously awesome to be his beard.

AW. I was waiting for this one. I kinda wanna pull out the poly card again on this one and yell FOURSOME, but I used that already. Oh my god, do you know what we need to do? We need to hang out in January and yell about all the ways that the Harry Potter books disappointed us and yet we love them anyway. THAT IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO. By which I mean: yes, total agreement re: Ginny there.

YES YES PLZ YES. I have SO MANY FEELINGS about harry potter and, while many of them are warm and fuzzy and about how important it's been to my life, so much is also how much I dislike so many things JKR did.

I agree with all of your Black choices. ON TO WEASLEYS. Okay, okay, so I kinda have all these thinky thoughts about how much I love Percy. Mostly because of fandom, but whatever, he has a very special place in my heart. HOWEVER, I also think he's GHEY as a box of birds. So I'd be his beard, too. <3

Bill and Charlie are so hard to choose between! Um um um, IDK! I'm gonna have to say cliff Bill and shag Charlie, because Charlie seems some more personable, and I feel like someone who wrestles dragons all day would be a fun time in bed. Also, leather. :D And for some reason Bill is kinda a tall, gangly and femme-looking ginger in my head, which isn't my kink.
