Despite the tried-and-true cheering-up methods of dressing snazzy, having hot chocolate, reading comfort stories, and enthusiastically tackling the slush pile, my brain is still having one of those days where I cannot stop overthinking and being anxious about nearly everything. Writing ridiculous fic may be the ticket, but in the meantime, it seems like everyone is having a rubbish November so far, and so I propose:

IMPROMPTU ROUNDS OF MARRY-SHAG-CLIFF! Ask me characters! Ask me for characters! Interrogate me on why I'd ever think marrying x would be a valid life choice! I realize that midafternoon on a Thursday is a ridiculous time for this sort of thing, but hell, this can be an all-day party. Have at it.

Then again, Amy would probably convince reality to rearrange itself so that she was falling into a lovely feather bed in the TARDIS with both of her boys. So she'd be all right.

Oh, I'm totally marrying Methos. The man has lots of practice being married, and I really don't think I'd be bored with him around.

Who gets shagged and who gets cliffed is the tough one.** If I have to pick...I'm going with Joe for shagability and sensitivity and hopefully some music as well. And then Amanda and I will go out and steal the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London and she will get cliffed off the White Cliffs of Dover. And then, once she's presumed dead, we'll split the loot.


**Shagging to me what liver is to most people. It's not something I enjoy, but I know there are people out there who do like it, and that's good. P.S. I do like liver.

Exactly! Amy is awesome like that, and in a lineup that didn't also have Delenn and River, she would be extremely not cliffed. :D

Oh god, giving me those three mostly just makes me want to writhe around going "I CAN'T CHOOSE, I CAN'T." But I believe I will marry Peter, shag El, and then do something with Neal that is very much like your heists-with-Amanda plan. :D

I literally have the outline of a Highlander-White Collar fusion sitting innocently on my computer. It definitely involves Immortal Neal who used to be Amanda's student. :D

I'm marrying Rory because Rory Williams is the best boyfriend in the history of EVER. The only thing is I would have to turn into Amy first because there is no way on earth that Rory would ever willingly marry anyone but his Amy.

I will shag Mickey because he is cute and badass and insufficiently appreciated by fandom, which is sad.

Jack I will cliff, because I did not like a number of moral decisions he made on Torchwood. And also because cliffing him will not kill him, so it's all good.

I will marry Nausicaä! I only saw her once and it is a rather distant memory, but I remember her being competent and awesome &c. I will shag Haku! I WILL SHAG HAKU SO MUCH. Man, I had such a crush on him as a teenager. San gets cliffed. Very politely. So she doesn't come back to kill me after she lands on her feet.
