I love how ridiculous I am during the summer

I don't even care about SGA fandom, but oh my god, this post! It is all about how John Sheppard is an emotional moron and also really gay. I think my face is going to break from grinning soon.

Can anyone tell me what it is about summer that makes me want to watch stupid TV? I should be catching up on three seasons of True Blood or doing more of my Babylon 5 rewatch, but no, now I have a desire to watch bits of SGA. What is broken in me??

Brb, going to rewatch some Highlander so I can write Methos fic dskldfsjk the local grocery store to do some errands, oh my god, self.

This possibly explains why I have been inhaling Grey's Anatomy. *facepalms forever*

It is basically a soap opera in disguise as a nighttime TV drama! There are love quadrangles and surprise pregnancies and surprise not-so-ex-wives and surprise syphilis! But there are lots of smart lady doctors who are friends and colleagues, so it is like crack to me. CRACK.

OH JOHN, MY EMOTIONALLY STUNTED INCREDIBLY GAY TV BOYFRIEND. ILU FOREVER.

I don't get season three of True Blood here for aaaaaaaages! Well, maybe a few weeks. It's not fair. Watching True Blood is totally what I should be spending my summer evenings doing.

I WANT TO TELL HIM HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM BUT I FEAR HE WOULD JUST THROW HIMSELF OUT OF THE WINDOW. POSSIBLY HE WOULD OPEN IT FIRST BUT I WORRY HE WOULDN'T.

It is totally a thing to mainline, with ice cream. That's how I saw S1&2 and now I don't know how I'm going to stand the suspense of watching it in 'real time' behind the US.

It's by [livejournal.com profile] ineffort; it is indeed McCoy-inspired! She made tons of them and I think she made the quotes up (I suspect McCoy never actually said "I'm a doctor, not a Jonas brother" or "I'm a doctor, not a sparkly vampire") but they were all hilarious.

I should be watching The Box of Delights. It's all downloaded and waiting on my hard disk, and I've compared it to the new-new Doctor Who enough times already that I at least owe it the benefit of a rewatch now that I'm something more than eight years old. But now all I want to do is watch Babylon 5 until my eyes fall out, and frankly, this is your fault.

Charming but technically flawed Edwardian fantasy with Patrick Troughton in it or the Dawn of the Third Age of Mankind? Dammit, I don't know any more.

I might need your help with the pitch letter to JMS, but we can totally make this happen.

Minor inconveniences like Patrick Troughton being dead are what modern video technology were made for... right?
