due south question time!

Has the Groundhog's Day plot been done in due South fic? Y'know, the one where someone has to live the same day over and over and over until they get it right?

(I ask this specifically because ghost!Fraser somewhat distresses me and I think that once I finish writing that fic, I would like to write one where Ray gets to save Fraser from dying and I get to use that fun plot at the same time. I do also ask because I love that plot and if it's been done in dS I want to read it for the sake of reading it, too.)

It has been done, as I have just been reminded, although in an F/K/V way where Ray Vecchio keeps getting killed because he won't man up and do the OT3 thing as he is meant to. IT'S KIND OF AWESOME.

Yes. Well, sort of. Um, one of the Team Whimsy ones from last year. Vecchio would keep waking up, doing this that and the other, and then dying that day in various fun and interesting ways, only to wake up _that same morning_ and start all over again.
You can chase it down or I can, but if I do then I'll just read it again, so it'll take longer to get to you. :D

I swear I've seen it somewhere else, too, with Fraser dying over and over and RayK as the love interest/POV character. But I can't recall where.
