EVERYTHING I DO IS FOR HIM
I am about 40% done with my bigbang that is due tomorrow, oh goddd, and this is made somewhat more difficult by the fact that this afternoon I was trying to talk it out with Rigby and she said, "You know what would be amazing? Ray/Ray fic where Fraser dies and is haunting them." So of course I want to write that instead, but ... it is very upsetting and not proper F/K/V, so instead I am writing Ray/Ray where Fraser is in Canada and eventually they go and work out their issues. In the 6,000 words that I doubt I can write tonight, because despite guzzling echinacea tea this morning I have a little sniffly cold. Also I somehow hyperextended my elbow, so typing has been ... fun.
Never mind all that, though! You know what happened today? MERLIN. I liked it! But then I am kind of guaranteed to like Merlin even if it is rubbish.
I don't really have many Deep Thoughts, besides that Arthur seriously fucking needs to figure out that Merlin is aces at saving him and also magical; I am slightly afraid they won't do it right, but they need to and it could be EPIC. Meanwhile I am all for the Arthur/Gwen just as long as it is more with the "Guinevere, you constantly surprise me! Yeah, that's all. Yes, I am always this awkward. PS I say this stuff to Merlin a lot. Threesome?" and less with the "Why hello there, Gwen, fancy meeting you farcically falling on top of me during an epic battle sequence with unfortunate CG creatures." I'd say my shipping preferences are showing, but deep down all I really want is, uh, Gwen/Morgana/Arthur/Merlin in pretty much any combination except for Gwen/Merlin because I like it when they're just BFFs. I can't believe I'm actually trying to claim that any of this constitutes Deep Thoughts.
I also hope there is lots of fic about Merlin's epic internal battle with the soul of Cornelius Sigan. Even though I don't actually intend to go looking for fic anytime soon. Eh, one day the planets will align and I will not have a million projects and I will read Merlin fic again. Oh tiny pet hobby fandom, I kind of missed you.
