Apparently vacation is fabulous for me, because I just wrote ~5800 words of fic. On the other hand, perhaps vacation is not fabulous for me, because said ~5800 words of fic are basically porn, porn, sap, sappy porn, and this is all well and good except that I wrote the majority of them with my grandmother in the next room, which means I'm probably going to the special hell.

On the other hand: ~5800 words of porn, porn, sap, and sappy porn, due South OT3 style! It is possibly the most self-indulgent thing I have ever written, because it has dancing and boys cooking things and Rays in love (which is sionnain's fault) and lots about how awesome Vecchio is (which is feverbeats fault for giving me possibly the best three things ever re: Vecchio for that three bits of sexual trivia meme) and it has no redeeming social value. None! Isn't that AWESOME? :D

Signs of Affection, F/K/V, for ds_flashfiction's late-summer amnesty, so I made them go on dates. And now I'm going to have lunch with my grandmother and then go to the special hell.

Oh argh, I totally forgot to check for that! However I am sure Scott will not mind of I c&p, so here are the relevant bits:

Um um okay I will try Vecchio:
1. No one is going to top Ray Vecchio, okay? Not even that punk Kowalski. (But Fraser might be an exception. Shh.)
2. He's absolutely silent in bed, because he grew up with siblings and it got to be habit.
3. It takes him ages to get used to the idea of sucking cock, but once it turns out he's pretty awesome at it, professional pride assures that he does it a lot.

And then I keyboarded happily at him and demanded more, so Scott added He is absolutely not above having sex in his car and I threatened to write Ray/Ray car blowjobs and the rest is history. :D

Hee! As with almost all of the responses to this meme, I disagree with some of the statements (in this case, #1 in particular) and yet still find them wildly endearing. How does that work?

I know! I love this meme because often it is full of Brilliant Insight, but most of the time that brilliant insight is into people's very specific personal canons, which is fascinating and awesome. (And re: #1, I go wildly back and forth on the issue. It depends on what specific universe Vecchio is living in at the time!)

I think it also partly depends on when he has his first gay relationship. I think he's probably easier in s1/2, so if there's prior F/V, that makes him more relaxed post-CotW. But even without that, I can go either way. :-)
