I'm a slasher! I must be stopped!
Oh my god I hope this Doctor Who casting spoiler is real. My joy did not actually break the sound barrier, but only because some people in the house are still asleep. Instead I think I left fingerprints in my face.
I uh would probably have epic irrational love for Timothy Dalton based on Hot Fuzz alone, but he is my ~questionably evil boyfriend~ in The Lion In Winter, okay, my epic love really knows no bounds. Classy Prydonian robes, sir! He looks slightly flummoxed about being there and having Bling of Rassilon, but fsdksd I never thought I would see the words "Timothy Dalton" and "Chancellor of the High Council" in the same sentence; it's TWO OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS. Not, um, that I am a fan of the Council, but I go off Who for ... it's been nearly a year since I've been really properly fannish, actually, but the second someone waves ridiculous Time Lord ceremonial robes in my face I have Pavlovian joy.
Meanwhile I have no idea why John Simm is blond and wearing a hoodie (quoth Handy in the comments: It's his Rose disguise) but that's not important; what's important is that for the sake of my continued will to live, I'm firmly convincing myself that every single John Simm rumour and picture is ENTIRELY FAKED, just so that if he does turn up I will be overjoyed but if he does not I will not be entirely crushed. Anyway, really? this is too good to be true for me. Timothy Dalton can turn up and go "WAY TO GO EXPLODING THE PLANET, DOCTOR, THIS CALLS FOR A TRIBUNAL" and then once the Doctor runs away as he does he can go die in the Master's arms. THIS IS ALL I WANT, OKAY? I just want Ten to die in Simm!Master's arms. I don't care how many reset buttons and stunt pieces and fart jokes there are, Rusty can do anything he likes as long as Ten dies in the Master's arms.
And as usual Doctor Who makes me wordy, but I really need to stop and make breakfast so I'll get to work on time.
