Overslept. Compensated by emailing another potential apartment and then taking a leaf out of sasha_feather's book and going for a long walk. My walk inevitably turned into an indie movie where I sat on a swing in a little park and listened to Vienna Teng's Lullaby for a Stormy Night, Marian Call's Good Old Girl, and the Headstones' Supersmart, which seemed like a logical progression at the time.

Speaking of music, I am rather fond of the music video to Adam Lambert's If I Had You. It's like Adam raided Tim Burton's costuming department and then crashed one of the Twilight sets and HAD A RAVE. I approve!

Meanwhile, the internet seems to be Made of Fail this week. I have nothing to add to the discussions that a lot of you haven't already said much more eloquently, but I did want to link to deepad's On Wiscon because it [a] is hilarious and [b] made my brain work.

Mostly, though, I just want to curl up and do more of my stupid Highlander rewatch. I'm accidentally compiling a picspam. It is essentially lots of Methos getting threatened with swords, and sometimes painting houses. (Somewhere, stage left, Londo Mollari wants to know if I still love him. Maybe I'd love you more if you and G'Kar painted houses, Londo.)

Clearly, then, there needs to be a story about Londo and G'Kar painting houses. And also a story about Methos and Londo painting some part of Babylon 5. (I have no idea why they would be doing that, but I can picture drinks and discussion of Kronos and G'Kar.)

dssdjkfd I CANNOT STAND HOW AWESOME THAT MENTAL IMAGE IS. I am very, very sure that they are drinking buddies, too. And they would stay drinking buddies -- even when Londo makes really terrible life choices and almost all his friends desert him, Methos would still turn up on random weekends to drink brivari and talk about unimportant things. It would be the best friendship ever. :D

It WOULD. And Methos would both irritate Londo and make him laugh. And he would be terribly unimpressed when Londo became Emperor, which would be a relief because everyone else would have expectations about the Minbari Emperor, and Methos would just treat him like his old friend and drinking buddy--with no reverence at ALL.

Damn, I want to read this story now! And I can't because I don't know Babylon 5. Will you write it? Please?

YES. In fact, I just want to write a million Methos fics -- I'm honestly considering just asking people to throw crossover prompts at me. Methos-and-Londo-as-drinking-buddies would absolutely be one of them.
