1. The first character I fell in love with: Dumbledore! I'd imprinted on Gandalf at a young age, okay.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Dumbledore again! I spent OotP and HBP wanting to KILL HIM, and when I realized that he was supposed to be a dick, I loved him again.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: SNAPE HAHAHA I don't care about Lucius Malfoy!
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: ...There has to be someone, somewhere on the internet for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER. Uh. I love the Trio? I bet that's an unpopular fandom opinion a lot of places.
5. The character I would shag anytime: THE WHOLE BLACK FAMILY Remus Lupin.
6. The character I'd want to be like: ...oh jfc I don't want to be any of these people. OH WAIT NEVILLE.

11. My five favorite things about the fandom: It is Baby's First Fandom! It is possible to find ANYTHING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. It is basically the one fandom in the universe where I want to sit on the sidelines with popcorn and cheer the wank on. A whole hell of a lot of the fic is way better than the books. And it makes me ship absurd things, which is always fun.
12. My five least favorite things about the fandom: ...IDK, I've been not in it for so long that I am no longer invested enough to have least favorite things.
13. My five favorite characters: Remus, Sirius, Neville, Luna, Dumbledore.
14. My five least favorite characters: Winky ugh ugh ugh, Romilda Vane, Pansy Parkinson, Rufus Scrimgeour, and sometimes Molly Weasley. HOLY SHIT WHY DO I EVEN REMEMBER HALF THOSE CHARACTERS.
15. My five favorite pairings: Remus/Sirius, Harry/Draco (ILU, fandom), Ron/Hermione (I do NOT LU, JKR), Bill/Fleur, and Dumbledore/Grindelwald.

Uh, in the later books Molly Weasley is kind of a horrible mother, and also (this is obvs the important bit) she's really awful to Sirius. Yeah.

Oh dear God yes. And I would not have minded it QUITE so much if they had retained their OotP personalities. But HBP and DH didn't have Remus and Tonks--just people with the same names.

Well, I did spend a while hating him, back when he was doing clearly awful things and all the characters around him still inexplicably loved him. I still think the characters -- Harry especially -- are too kind to him, but I did suddenly love him again when the narrative acknowledged that he was an awful person. Because I am incredibly easy for characters who are terrible people when the story is self-aware about it.
