SHOW OF MY HEART
White Collar is back as of tonight! I am probably not capable of having deep articulate thoughts about it, but I love it to little bitty stylish pieces. Some observations, in no particular order:
+ I am almost knee-weakeningly glad that Neal and Peter are all right. I am also knee-weakeningly glad that they are keeping up their delicious balance of trust-while-holding-out-on-one-another.
+ This is not to say that I didn't also have some trouble breathing when Neal was not trusting Peter. The levels of tension were making me kind of squirmy. Even when Neal is trying not to communicate, Peter still sort of gets through, and I'm not quite sure I can properly deal with how wonderful that is.
+ WHEN NEAL THOUGHT PETER WAS EVIL HE WENT TO ELIZABETH WITH IT. Oh my god what is this I don't even. I am going to draw a billion stupid hearts around them.
+ I'm fairly sure there were a few instances in episodes 6 & 7 when Peter and Neal looked like they were about to kiss, and when they didn't I had a moment of cognitive dissonance, but wow, the end of this episode? when Peter is a DUMBASS & AMAZING and runs into the room to save Neal right before it gets sealed? I seriously 100% expected that they would have to do some wacky dry-land equivalent of buddy breathing. CLEARLY I HAVE BEEN WATCHING DUE SOUTH TOO MUCH. Peter crouched over Neal shaking him with gentle urgency was a fairly good substitute, though.
+ The scene with Peter & Kate made me ridiculously happy, first because I am cherishing this pet dream that Kate is evil (it makes her 500x as interesting!) and second because it was basically Peter saying, "I know you don't love Neal, but I do, and I'm taking care of him, so step the fuck off."
Next: the guy we thought was evil last episode probably is evil after all! Neal stops searching for Kate clues and starts looking for a music box! It looks like there is more El and THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE MORE EL. I was so ruined by getting the first seven episodes all in a go, because I am already in agonies for more. YAY!
