I said I needed to be off the grid until Friday, barring Eastwick later tonight, but, uh, WHITE COLLAR, OH MY GOD. By which I mean I am all caught up, and I was completely on board, a little more each episode, but that last one -- I may have just sat, staring at the ceiling, stunned, for a solid minute.

Non-spoilery thoughts: I am so in love with Elizabeth, and I OT3 them so hard. (Meanwhile, Kate looks like a younger and less attractive version of Elizabeth. Why? Was the makeup department feeling lazy? Is this supposed to say weird psychological things about Neal and Peter? Do I just imagine that Kate looks like Elizabeth? I have no idea!) Much more importantly, in the last, hm, two or so episodes, I kept on thinking Neal and Peter were about to kiss and having a moment of total cognitive dissonance when they didn't. That's ridiculousawesome.

Spoilery thoughts: UH HOLY GOD THE ENDING. THAT LAST SCENE. The tacky ring and the ominous lighting and the &c make it way, way too easy for Peter to just be evil, and unless they want to retcon every single episode (not to mention every single look Peter's ever given Neal when Neal isn't looking) then it basically makes no sense. I doubt Elizabeth knows what's going on any more than Neal does, but I also assume Elizabeth hasn't been married to someone Zomg Evil for ten years. And did I mention every single look Peter's ever given Neal? I don't even mean that in a shippy way; they just like each other, and I bet Peter's doing the opposite of trying to fuck Neal over. I have no idea what exactly is going on with Kate, but Peter's obviously not keeping her hostage, just keeping her away from Neal -- so I bet he's trying to protect Neal. He also knew that Neal would go to Kate's apartment when he escaped, so it's not like our Peter didn't have tabs on her already. And ... yeah. I'm all for conspiracy theories and Peter and Neal being embroiled in something huge and scary, but I also need like burning for them to be in it together.

...So yeah! I'm invested. TALK TO ME. :D

Yesssss! There was at least one scene where I fully expected Neal to say, "I love you, too!" I keep rewatching bits of 1.07 and squeaking and flailing. *flails at you gratuitously*

I was pretty much on board with the Neal/Peter(/Elizabeth) from the word go, but wow, in the last couple of episodes it was almost text. :DDD

My brain threw out 'HEY HEY HEY WHAT IF ELIZABETH IS KATE BUT IN WITNESS PROTECTION?' Except they are, in fact, two different actresses. And the whole ten-year-marriage thing.
I'd totally buy sisters, though!
ALSO WHAT WAS THAT ENDING SRSLY. I mean, really, WHAT. (In the teaser commercials, I was so hoping that was Diana in the doorway. BUT THEN IT WAS KATE WHAAAAAT.)

...see what I mean, Diana needs to save the day and get the girl? I'm a little stuck on that. XD
