I am apparently pants at getting anything done today, but that's okay, because there is a new Love Meme! My thread is here, but you should link yours too, because I am feeling fuzzy and am all for spreading the love.
Possibly there should be more content here than just a love meme, so a few things in no particular order:
+ NEW HUGH DILLON ALBUM TODAY. Will iTunes let me buy it? Unlikely.
+ The new Doctor Who logo? Yeah, I think it's adorable and fills my soul with weird irrational nostalgia for Seven. How baller would it be if Eleven was like Seven? Come to think of it, I would be all for Amy Pond being like Ace.

schiarire tells me that the play I am currently composing for my theatre class would make a really excellent webcomic. I figure that the hijinks of two twenty-something lesbians living in an apartment that is haunted by a ghost only one of them can see does indeed have the makings of an awesome webcomic, but it remains that I cannot actually draw stuff, and also I have no time.
+ I am having an early-life crisis re: whether I actually want to apply to grad school right away. Rather than actually working on any applications, I am just going to the gym a lot. I'm not any closer to deciding what I want to do with my life, but my pants are starting to fit again, so I am still probably one point up on the universe.

This is totally, totally understandable! There are lots of good reasons for not applying right away. And I think you should definitely sit down and have a long talk with professors/the career center/whatever resources are available to you to talk about your options. THAT SAID, until you are absolutely 100% sure that you don't want to go to grad school right now, after much discussion, it might be a good idea to work on your applications? Especially because right now you still have easy access to a lot of resources like professors, career center, etc. At least applying now gives you the option of saying "oops! don't want to do this at this point!" whereas if you hit December and realize you do want to apply... Also, in the worst case scenario, you will have a place to start from for when you DO apply to grad school down the line! ALSO: have you considered looking into whether some of your programs allow you to defer admission? I have no idea how it works with library schools, but applying now and then waiting a year to actually attend might also be an option to consider.

I think that is my general idea right now, and it does not sound crushingly insane, plus my sudden bewildering heel-dragging and urge to just move to a new place and get a damn apartment and job signals to me that maybe I should take a short academic break. Does this sound ... sane?

Grad school... it is a funny beast! We fear it!!
