Hi, internet! The apartment of Gondor is spending the evening watching Mythbusters, and the combination of my delightful bizarre fannish feelings about this show + wine + an episode about superhero myths = us trying to figure out what the cast's superpowers would be.

Jamie: invulnerability
Adam: kinetic energy (sort of Gambit-style)
Tory: super speed
Kari: something ... cosmic, we did not really work this out but we wanted her to have alien superpowers and fly and stuff! (Ms Marvel style, more or less)
Grant: he has no super powers, but is basically low-budget Iron Man (with bonus Mythbusters narrator playing the part of JARVIS)

OTHER SUGGESTIONS WELCOME, THIS IS TOTALLY A SUPERPOWERED MYTHBUSTERS PARTY! For the ... however many of you care, I do not actually know how many of you care! But it is making the apartment of Gondor very happy.

Oooh yes! I ... am not sure I have the energy to get the ball rolling at the moment, but I am DELIGHTED with the fact that there is a DW Mythbusters comm, so -- perhaps in the future! Or you could start it and I would happily play. :)

Did you not know that we had Mythbusters fandom a while ago? Because, if you didn't know there was a comm . . . ! You should ttly look for some fanfictions there. Also I have written a couple of small fanfictions, and toft has written a couple of HUGE BEAUTIFUL EPIC AMAZING fanfictions, ones that make me cry and put my heart in my throat and are so so good and if you've not read those I do recommend them heartily.

Maybe we'll do a MB AU challenge or something! After the current fic-fest season, though, I think; our fandom is small enough that it needs all the participation it can get. :)
