So last September/October, I watched a truly alarming amount of Smallville. I still genuinely love the first three seasons, and there are good ... bits ... of later ones, too. (Except for sixth season, which needs to be punched in the face.) I was only watching for Lex, though, and when he left and Chloe definitely was never going to be Lois, I didn't bother to keep going. I did read a ton of fic, and I have a slightly suspicious number of Superman comics on my bookshelf now, but for the most part I went on to other things.

This is all by way of saying that I am still STUPID EXCITED about some casting spoilers. First we have Lex back for the finale, and I honestly don't care if they screw everything up and Lex is flat-out eeevil or anything, I am still full of sparkly joy. Second we have THIS THIS DEAR GOD THIS. Not only is that picture goddamn adorable (I want to ruffle his haaair; how so perfect, casting?) but it also means that ... I may have to watch bits of season ten? I am strangely okay with this.

Ahhhhhhh HOW AWESOME. I already heard about the Lex coming back thing, and THAT IS EXCITING ENOUGH. I fully look forward to seeing what the fandom will do with whatever the season finale is (since I know perfectly well I won't be watching it...).

BUT THEN! CONNERRRRRRRRR! I absolutely adore all the fics that involve him, and I never in a million years thought he'd show up in the show, and OMG HOW SO AWESOME. And he looks RIDICULOUSLY adorable. No but seriously, I can't believe the show actually went there! Well, I'm still ever so slightly disbelieving that the COMICS went there. Hee!

Well in this version he is apparently Lex's clone? Or something? IDK, I haven't watched it since s7. BUT I THINK I AM GOING TO. So I can tell you what ridic fuckwittery they are up to now!

In the proper version (idk if you know) he's a clone of Clark and Lex, and idk why they couldn't just do that. 9___9 Anyway, I don't want to know what dumb crap they're up to know. This show has broken my heart enough times. >:(

Maybe he is a clone of both of them in this version too, and just takes after Lex? IDK IDK. But right, then, I will only tell you if the finale is actually against all expectations kind of awesome, and otherwise I will not tell you more heartbreaking things.
