That was the bit in The Last Battle that I hate too. The death and destruction thing, whatevs, I could see what he was doing and it worked well enough. And there was some fantastic imagery with the dying Narnia. But the stuff with poor Puzzle being so misled by the ape? I couldn't even deal. (Though for me it was less about making Narnia corrupt and dirty and more about just really hating that that could/did happen)
