I figure one of the understood rules of being fannish about the Highlander series is "The movies are optional. SO OPTIONAL. OH GOD MAKE THEM STOP." Although I still have a stupid fuzzy fondness for the original because it is so unrelentingly ridiculous. Oh, and also because people actually get arrested for beheading each other.
