Awwwwwwyeah! I still need to watch Ragnarok, so I'm sure there's some context I'm not getting, but. This was great! The first ten seconds are absolutely perfect. I really liked the extended Chrysler Tower shot at the 1:25 mark; after a lot of cuts it was good to take a moment to pause and just watch Thor be powerful (also A+ use of Jane Foster reaction shot, I agree)

I love how you segued from [bridge + Thor's low points] to [chorus: final-form Thor] for just a few seconds before bringing it back to [friends before/after] because it's not just about personal growth; his growth has also affected his relationships, which in turn make him a stronger person. SO GOOD.

Finally, shoutout to 2:44-2:46 for making me snort at the juxtaposition/highlighting the foreshadowing(?)

SEAN WE GOTTA WATCH RAGNAROK, ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OF 20171!! But also: oh my gosh, thank you, I love how specific this comment is, it's making me glow with happiness. One of the reasons we must watch Ragnarok: it posits that heroism isn't so much about being the one person to take a stand/make a sacrifice, it's about collective actions and how your friends make you stronger! so um I'm glad that came through, I had a million feelings about it :D
