Augh, Lana is such a dilemma for me! I didn't start out hating her, but after a certain point I just had to start skipping all of her scenes -- and it's not like the actress is objectively terrible or anything! I think it's that the character is written as that Lana's inherent awesomeness should be self-evident, but ... what they give her is mostly sad, sad looks and occasionally righteous indignation, and that's not enough to hold a character together, or go anywhere towards explaining why Clark stays attracted to her. The awful thing is that it looks like the answer is "Force of habit" and then, later, "An excuse to lash out at Lex."
That, or it's just that no one's as cool as Chloe. :D
I'm honestly afraid that if I watch Objection (Tango) too many times, my screen is going to burst into flames. Heh.
