The thing is though that I understand Ray kind of differently from how other people do, and since I am so goddamn specific about him, I do not actually stop reading a Ray that is not my Ray as long as he is well-written, but I do often have this reaction of "...wait no what why would Ray ever do that." So uh it is a mixed blessing.

Re: reconciling Fraser/RayK and Fraser/RayV, I think the answer is indeed the OT3. I have this weird thing where ... If it is Fraser/RayK, I just go, "Yes, of course they rode off into the sunset together! Yay!" and if it is Ray/Ray without any Fraser, I figure as long as Fraser is the crazy non-Ray-sexual Mountie friend that both of them got over before moving on to a good life together, that's awesome, but if it is Fraser/RayV without any RayK, I either [a] feel bad for poor Vecchio pre-s3, because it's not gonna last, or [b] feel bad for poor Kowalski post-s4, because what the hell happened that he does not get to be with Fraser and RayV. Basically all I want is for all of them to be happy, and I can go with RayV marrying Stella and staying friends with Fraser and being happy, or Fraser being alone while the Rays are together and being happy, but I cannot imagine a Fraserless RayK being happy. In conclusion: THREESOME.
