*cracks up* Oh god, you're right. Into the Fire is the end of the Shadow War, and is about half a dozen episodes beforehand. I guess that sort of proves my point, then: Londo getting G'Kar to share a drink with him is so important that I don't even know which war is going on. XD
G'Kar pouts because Londo won't give him flowers
fdjksdak it's true! <3 I mean, I didn't properly ship them until season four, when I was hit really hard with the OTP Bat, but retrospectively, yeah. They spend an entire episode fighting over flowers!
Also, re: Londo not getting G'Kar's faith, but still having moments like the one Vir describes -- mm, yes. I'm a bit sad we couldn't have seen that scene, if only because Peter Jurasik probably would've knocked it out of the park, but I suppose beautifully singing Pak'mara are more powerful if you just imagine them.
the thing is, just as Londo wasn't the only Centauri Morden was in contact with, just the first, I think that Morden would have made sure to get other Narn interested as well, so that by the time G'Kar would come to a personal line he wouldn't cross (which would have been definitely after the destruction of Centauri Prime, not before), it would not depend just on G'Kar anymore.
Ooh, yes, good point. *takes fic notes* :D The more I think about it, the bigger and more ridiculous this potential fic is. Ahaha. (And relatedly, omg that fic! I have read it, and I read it through my hands but laughing. Most excellent.)
G'Kar has three breaks from fate which correspond with Londo's three chances
!!! I love how much attention you've paid to the parts of the show I'm most interested in. I didn't even notice that before, but of course. That's so wonderfully symmetrical and strangely comforting.
it's when after the attack on the Narn outpost, i.e. when he knows exactly what the mysterious "allies" are capable of now, asks for a second time. That's when he sells his soul.
Ooh, yeah, that's true too. I mostly assumed Londo's doomed from the time Morden decides he's their guy because there are dozens of times when Londo could conceivably make a right choice and doesn't, so even though he hasn't done anything consciously wrong yet, I'm still anxious for him the second he tells Morden what he wants.
She does answer the Vorlon's question, "Who are you?", when volunteering to be tortured by Sebastian
Ahhh, Vorlons. :( It's sort of amazing I/the characters/probably a lot of people watching didn't catch on sooner that the Vorlons are also extremely upsetting.
And YES, the crossover where the Toclafane like Lord of the Rings and then they resettle on Za'ha'dum! (The moment I finished season five, I may have torn through a lot of the fic on the AO3. I didn't leave comments, though, because I'm awful at feedback when I'm new to a fandom. But I loved it, and probably once I have settled a little I'm going to go back through all of your fic and actually comment. :D)
