Oh, filk to that song is always so good. I remember (but now cannot find) the LOTRPS version in which the chorus went "We didn't start the fandom / 'Though we surely slashed it / And we tried to crash it." But I had not heard the HP version! I only got about half of it, because I was only peripherally in HP.
