I actually read the Magician's Nephew first, cause we had the box set and I didn't realise that it was a prequel. I think that what I like most about Digory and Polly is that they seem just that bit more equal. The Pevensies always had the sibling hierarchy and I just wasn't as fond of Jill and Eustance. But Polly and Digory were just friends. Also I adored the idea of being able to crawl through to the next house.
